Welcome to Year 3
Our teachers are Mrs Clark, Mrs Kelly and Miss McManus-Reilly and we are helped by Mrs Howe and Mrs Ellwood. In this section you can find out what we are learning about in Year 3. Our class newsletter gives lots of useful information including a timetable, homework and PE days. Please find a booklet below which sets out what children in this year group are expected to understand and apply by the end of this year in the areas of writing, reading and maths. Our Spring Term Topic – ‘The Arts’
Our topic for the Spring term is THE ARTS. We will be studying the development of the Arts through British history including the Stone Age, the Bronze age and the Vikings. We will also learn about art in some ancient civilisations such as Ancient Egypt and the Mayans. We will learn about some famous artists such as Monet, Picasso and David Hockney and creating our own pieces of artwork. To read more, please click here Year 3 The Arts.
Year 3 – Projects 2016-2017
