Our Spring Term Topic
Our topic for this term is SHAKE THINGS UP. We will be learning about earthquake zones and what precautions are put into place for buildings in these zones so that they can withstand the shock of an earthquake. We will be challenging our pupils to design and build their own structure and write explanations of our own designs. Other challenges include the Tin Foil Tower, the Sugar Cube Challenge and the Great Bridge challenge. We will also be drawing pictures of structural buildings. Please find below the topic outline which explains how our topic links across the whole curriculum YEAR 5 SPRING TOPIC
