Our Spring Term Topic – ‘Earthquakes, Zone and Volcanoes ‘
Our topic for the spring term is Earthquakes, Zones and Volcanoes. We will investigate patterns of earthquakes, mountains and volcanoes and will be discovering about the area known as the ‘Ring of Fire’. As artists we will paint images of volcanoes using different mediums and write poetry in English about volcanic eruptions. To find out more about our topic please click here.
Year 6 Video (2016-17)
As part of our work in English this term, the children needed to learn a poem by heart. We chose ‘If’ by Rudyard Kipling and filmed the children each saying a line from it. The result is a fantastic short film which you can see by clicking on the play button below.
