Home / Parents / Childcare Provision

Childcare Provision

Primary Schools are now required to publish alongside their Performance information a list of their childcare provision, making it easier for parents to know what is available.

St Patrick’s RC Primary School offers a range of childcare provision which we have listed below:

Before and after school

  • Breakfast club runs from 7.30am – £2 per session.
  • After school club is open until 4.45pm – £3.20 per session.

At both clubs, children have the opportunity to take part in arts and crafts activities, construction, games or playing outdoors. Children at breakfast club have the option of a range of hot or cold food. A snack tea is provided at after school club. Payment should be made weekly by cash, cheque or via ParentPay.

All staff have appropriate Paediatric First Aid, food hygiene and safeguarding training. If you would like further information, please contact the school office: 01207 503982.

  • In addition, we offer a range of after school sport and curriculum clubs. These vary from term to term and parents have the opportunity to sign their child up at the start of each half term. Prices for these clubs vary.

Nursery provision

All 3 year olds are entitled to 15 hours early years childcare per week and, from September 2017, children may be eligible for up to 30 funded hours (38 weeks/1140 hours per year). Our nursery offers both 15 and 30 hour provision. Eligibility for 30 hours will be checked by the government and you can apply for the 30 hours of free childcare through their Childcare Service website (click the link below).

Childcare Services

Parents also have the option to pay for additional hours to fit with school opening times.

To apply for a place, or for further information, please contact Mrs Victoria Pygall at the school: 01207 503982. Places are allocated according to age.
