Welcome to our new ‘Little Friends of St Patrick’s’ Pop up Play Café; A chance to enjoy a drink and some breakfast, or a treat, and entertain your little ones every Tuesday morning. A great place to catch up with friends, and make new friends for little people and their parents and carers too.
We are open on Tuesdays each week during term time, between 9.15 to 10.15 am. Parents and children sign in at the school’s main reception area, and at 9.15 they are taken to the school hall where the play café is held.
This is a link to our blog which will be updated with news and other useful information. Please click on this link to see the Little Friends blog.
The cafe is run by a group of volunteer parents of children who attend St Patrick’s School and have young families ourselves who enjoy playing each week. We offer a relaxed and laid back atmosphere, for parents and are all enthusiastic about quality play for our children.
The little ones will find plenty of things to do as our school hall is filled with different areas of play, such as a baby area, construction and small world toys, sensory play, mark making and a reading area. You can also loan books to take home for a week until the following session by completing our book loan form.
As we run as a ‘cafe’ and charge no entrance fee, only food and drink purchased from us is allowed in the hall with the exception of baby food, or to satisfy special dietary needs. We provide a simple menu offering drinks, breakfast and snack items which can be ordered and paid for at our serving area. You can find our menu on our blog, although the menu is subject to change from time-to-time. There is a seating area for enjoying drinks, food and also for catching up with other parents and carers. There is also a smaller seating option for little people to do the same!
Above all, we are about having fun with each other, and our children and enjoying being together. We look forward to seeing you soon !
