Our School Council is a group of students from Y2 up to Y6 who represent the children in school enabling them to have a say about what goes on in our school. They can raise issues, concerns and awareness about many matters.
It gives our children a voice and helps them to develop responsible attitudes, improve behaviour and instill a feeling of belonging, it also helps teach children respect for others. The School Council also enables teachers to see things from a child’s point of view and is managed by Mrs Clennell.

We need your ideas and plans !!
The school council are applying for a NEPIC Environmental Award and have chosen to design a ‘Secret Garden’. They have worked hard on this already and have some fantastic ideas. The award criteria asks that children plan, draw, paint, build models of what they want this area to look like for example a vegetable patch, Wonder Woods reading area, a butterfly sanctuary or sensory plants for quiet times. If you have any ideas or plans they want to put forward they are more than welcome to do so. We need to send the application by 4th December. If successful, we could receive up to £2000!
Please remember to put name, age and class on the back of each piece of work or plan.
