All parents/carers automatically become ‘Friends of St Patrick’s’ when their child starts school here. We appreciate that not everyone can commit to giving time regularly to help us plan and run events but any help, whether regular or on an ad hoc basis is always gratefully received as we cannot run events without your help. All money raised through the Friends is used for the benefit of our children so the more we raise the better it is for your children.
The Friends of St Patrick’s have organised some fantastic events which have been enjoyed by both parents, children and the community: Christmas and Summer Fairs, Bake-Off, Easter hunt, Autumn Walk to name a few. Money raised has been spent in a variety of ways: whole school visit to the Christmas pantomime at the Empire, Year 6 Leavers’ hoodies, play equipment for the school yards, supplementing the school library and purchasing equipment for school.
We are always looking for volunteers to help with events and offer ideas for new and exciting ways to build up our school community. Please contact the school office for further information.
